Sadly I read every single review and can reliably say….we had NO issues at all with the pre drilled holes not aligning. The hardware and wood were outstanding. I do see many knots in wood which can often fall out so will watch them. We did teak oil the pieces prior to assembly. Highly recommend this set, assembly was straight forward and my daughters and I did the chairs, husband helped with table. Love it! See photos. P.S. avoid reviews prior to 2022This set is nicely designed, and the materials are higher quality than I expected. For example, the seats bottoms and seat backs are slightly curved, making it more comfortable to sit on if you prefer to not have cushions. It is not trivial to create this curve in manufacturing, but the subtle details in craftsmanship is what makes this set stand apart. There were a few chairs where a finishing nail or two missed the slats, but it was not critical for longevity or strength- so I just clipped the exposed nails off and you cant see them now.ASSEMBLY-I read lots of reviews where other reviewers had issues with getting the bolts all the way in. I could see that being an issue IF you ONLY use the included allen wrench. You ABSOLUTELY need to use an impact driver with a tight fitting allen bit to assemble this set properly, and it will make it much easier and quick overall. DO NOT even attempt to assemble without the impact driver- bolts will for sure be very difficult to drive in all the way without it. Just use caution not to over tighten the bolts with the impact driver or you WILL split the wood, this is a hardwood afterall. Follow the instructions carefully and use the correct bolts in the correct spots and all will go well. I had a few bolts from the chair side to the chair bottom/seat that needed a clamp to pull the curved wood down and forward a bit to more easily align the bolt hole- without clamping those times, the bolt most likely would have stripped the threads and would have been stuck. Use common sense and realize that this is wood, it is prone to moving and flexing a bit in different temperatures and humidity. You should be a somewhat crafty/mechanically inclined person to put this together properly.For the table, I recommend also using a wood glue on ALL of the leg joint areas- will add significant strength and longevity to the table.My son and I assembled the chairs first, then the table. It took us about 2 hours to do the chairs, another 2 hours or so to do the table, TAKING our time to assemble properly. The last step- installing the clasps that hold the table leafs together, I was not looking forward to as these can be tricky to align and compensate for the clasp flex, etc. However, to my delight, I found the screw holes for the clasp hardware was pre-drilled, and was absolutely spot on. Well done.If you have a little patience and some mechanical aptitude and the right tools- this goes together great. The end result is stunning for the price. Many of our neighbors and friends were shocked this was such a value priced set. I have seen (already assembled) sets at retail for 2x the price- MINIMUM.One more thing, do some research on protecting semi-exotic hardwoods like this (ACACIA) and FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS on whatever product you choose to use. This is wood- it REQUIRES some work to keep it looking nice and prevent it from drying out and splitting up. DO NOT even consider buying sets like this unless you absolutely plan on applying a protectant of some kind at least 3-4 times a year, maybe more in full sun areas like Florida. We also plan on purchasing a cover that can cover the table and all of the chairs, this will add to its longevity and keep it looking nice.I am pleased with the set itself. Assembly was difficult and instructions were not clear. BIG ISSUE: I AM SHORT 2 CHAIRS AND CANNOT REACH A WARM BODY ON TELEPHONE. ?.The coffee table really looks great. The Chevron pattern makes it look more expensive than it is. The wood is definitely a cheaper grade, but I'd rather spend less money on a table so I'm not worried about it surviving the elements, than spend a lot on a high quality table that I'm constantly moving indoors to avoid getting worn out or damaged. Definitely worth the price tag, as long as you don't expect it to last forever!Easy to assemble. Beautiful and well made. All my neighbors ask where I got it!It took me about 3 hours to assemble 5 pieces together, the instruction is pretty clear. Good quality, nice look, great value for the price.UPDATE: The table was delivered five days after the chairs. I did reach out to Walker Edison but never received a reply or any communication about the delayed table delivery. I’m glad I didn’t have to try to pursue a refund because I’m pretty sure it would have gone nowhere fast.Assembly went smoothly (glad I had a power driver though. Doing this manually would have been a beast.) now that it’s all assembled and on the deck we’re pretty pleased! Stain is uneven and the assembly done prior to shipping seems rushed. Wood has some cracks/rough edges - but nothing that makes me concerned about it falling apart. Adding 2 stars, but would definitely say “fine enough, not great”.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Received our order today and so far only have received the four chairs. I unpacked one box and the manufacturing is clearly rushed/rough - but nothing wildly inappropriate given the price for a 5-piece wooden dining set.More disturbingly is the table itself hasn’t arrived and Amazon has marked the full order as delivered. The only support options Amazon gives are via Walker Edison, so I’ve sent an email and will await further info before I unpack and assemble these chairs.Based on other reviews I was hoping I’d be one of the lucky ones that would end up with a full set, albeit a little rough around the edges. If the table does arrive and I get to assemble the full set, I’ll update this review!This table is beautiful! Not stained very well out of the box…..blotches of stains in various areas. I wiped it good with a wet cloth and that helped. Also highly recommend using teak oil to finish the table off. The instructions say to do that but it’s not mentioned anywhere in the details on Amazon. Applying the teak oil really finishes off this beautiful table. I’ve gotten lots of compliments!
